After launching the campaign, 11 days later and we only manage to get 5% of the total amount needed. Although, with the amount now, we could only help up to 1 to 2 cars. Nonetheless, we would still like to thank each and everyone that donated and helped us this far. 😁
This campaign will continue to run until the end of January 2022. And with the money gathered, Hive will help victims subsidize up to RM300 for the car restoration service. Besides that, we will also help lower the restoration fee down to below RM1,000.
But by lowering the prices, does that mean we are compromising the quality of the service? Rest assured that it is not. Check out the pictures below to find out.
Based on the customer, the flood level risen above the top of the tire, the bonnet was covered in dust and the interior had an odor from the flood water.
However, they were very satisfied with the restoration service and rated this merchant a 10/10 for having gone beyond their expectations. They said that the front bonnet was even cleaner than it was pre-flood and the odor in the car was completely gone. They expected that there would be some dust and debris that are embedded but found the car completely spotless.
A piece of advice from them to other flood victims is to send their cars to professional detailers and would give recommendation to the customer for what would be the services needed to fully restore the car.
Therefore, we are aiming to raise RM10,000 via KitaFund to give subsidized car detailing services at our merchants' shops for those affected by the flood.
KitaFund is a platform where the public can help to crowdfund a campaign. Using KitaFund as the middleman helps to protect both parties' sensitive information and also to reduce the chances or fraud campaigns.
Any amount of donation is welcomed and much appreciated by us at Hive and those who will be receiving this relief. Please help us spread the word! Any amount of help even as simple as sharing this campaign is greatly appreciated.
